Welcome to our web page!  Please navigate through the tabs on the left to find information about our elementary school.  If you are having trouble finding a page, clicking on "All Pages" at the bottom will reveal all the options.

We feel that communication between home & school is very important.  We have created an announcements blog to keep the lines of communication open.  We encourage all families to "follow" what's happening here at Apollo-Ridge Elementary by signing up here.

Visitiors Please Note:  There are significant security measures in place to help improve our school's security.  These measures include locking all of the doors at the beginning of the school day and immediately after the school day ends.  Please be sure to make an appointment with the person you would like to meet with or send a note to the office if you plan on picking up your child during the school day. Also, if you are picking up your child or entering the building, please be sure to have your driver's license or photo identification.  The District utilizes the Raptor Visitor Management System which will require your driver's license to be scanned.  We apologize for any inconvenience these measures may cause, but they are needed to ensure student safety on campus.

The hour of code is coming!

What is the Hour of Code?
The hour of code is a way to spark a student’s interest in coding or programming. More than 100 million students have tried an Hour of Code. This year at Apollo-Ridge Elementary School, students in grades K-5 will choose a one hour, self-guided activity from Code.Org.

Why the Hour of Code?
We live in a world surrounded by technology. We know that whatever field our students choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly hinge on understanding how technology works. The basics of computer science help nurture creativity and problem-solving skills, and prepare students for any future career.  Find out more at

This is to remind you that students are not permitted to be dropped off in the morning prior to 8:30am.  Adult supervision is not provided and students will not be permitted to enter the elementary building until then.  It is required that your child remain in your car until the teachers are at their designated stations.

Once the adults are stationed at their assigned locations, and the students can safely cross from the parking lot to the sidewalk, the students will be permitted to proceed to the elementary building.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.  The safety of all students is our utmost priority.
