Welcome to the Apollo-Ridge Education Foundation!

About the Education Foundation

The mission of the Apollo-Ridge Education Foundation is to enhance and enrich the educational experience of our students by encouraging and supporting the development of innovative programs.

Since its inception in 1996, the Foundation has awarded over $80,000 in grants to teachers of the Apollo-Ridge School District who have created innovative instructional activities and projects for the purpose of enhancing student learning and achievement.  This "innovative project" program enables the district to provide educational services above and beyond the existing program levels supported by state and local tax revenues.

For 2011-2012, the Education Foundation’s goal is to support the development of a multi-media center, housed in the Apollo-Ridge Middle School, to support student learning during the day and adult education programs in the evening.

Donors of all sizes are appreciated and corporate sponsorship of the Education Foundation is welcomed.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations to the Apollo-Ridge Education Foundation are tax deductible to the limits allowed by law.  The Foundation is currently applying for Educational Improvement Tax Credit status.
