BEST & BRIGHTEST TO EXHIBIT AT A-R SCIENCE FAIR

Calling all students in grades K-12 -- you are invited to participate in Apollo Ridge’s science fair from 10 AM - Noon on Saturday, May 11 - you do not need to be an A-R student to participate.  The science fair is a wonderful opportunity to learn and present what you know and love about science.  Students will choose any topic they truly enjoy, run several experiments, and then present their findings at the Fair. Students may choose to work on an individual project or team up with a partner.  There is no entry fee and awards and prizes will be given.  For additional information, project ideas, and guidelines, please email Brett Andree at arsciencefair@yahoo.com.  We hope to see you at the fair!

LOOKING FOR A NEW BOOK TO READ?

Look no further than the Book Exchange at the Apollo-Ridge Learning Festival on Saturday, May 11, from 10 AM to 2 PM.  Bring your gently used books and choose new gently used books in exchange!  Hundreds of books suitable for all ages are available.  After 2 PM all books go on sale for a nominal cost.  Apollo-Ridge students may submit books to their homeroom teachers by May 9 to receive coupons to exchange for books on May 11.  Contact Mrs Miller at ext. 2116 in the Middle School for assistance.
